  14. I'm attempting to install LeX and dvips. LeX and LaTeX seem to be working
  15. correctly, I've processed the gentle-introduction.tex and
  16. metafont-for-beginners.tex without problems (it seems.)

  18. However, when I try to run dvips, I get tons of font conversions then:

  20. This is dvipsk 5.58a Copyright 1986, 1994 Radical Eye Software
  21. ' TeX output 1994.09.20:1548' -> me.ps
  22. dvips: ! [1] Couldn't find header file ader/type1 font
  23.  
  24. I'm not sure what that means. All the header files are installed properly,
  25. because if I remove them it imediately complains that tex.pro is missing.

  27. I've compiled this with gcc 2.5.7 and bison under SunOS 4.1.3.
  28. Interestingly, I tried to compile it with SunOS cc and it can't find
  29. tex.pro at all when run.

  31. When I run with debugging (FYI "dvips -d" dumps core), I get before this:
